Fall Savers Wireless Bed & Chair Monitor System

A daily concern for all carers whether at home or in a healthcare setting is minimising the risk of falls. To help promote safety, the Fall Savers System includes the necessary items for a bed & chair monitoring system with a localised alarm. The anti-bacterial sensor pads will alert carers immediately when a person leaves their bed or chair. They can also be integrated into an existing nurse call system or used with an optional portable pager.

The Fall Savers® Bed & Chair Monitor System includes the items below to meet the needs of the person in your care.

One Fall Savers® Antibacterial Bed Sensor Pad & One Antibacterial Chair Sensor Pad

For use with the Fall Savers Transmitter, the Bed & Chair Sensor Pads will activate an alert wirelessly on the Fall Savers Monitor when a person gets out of their bed or chair and their weight moves off the sensor pads. The Bed Sensor pad fits above the mattress and can be folded for easy storage. Both pads are antibacterial & antimicrobial and have a wipe clean surface. When used with the transmitter, the sensor pads do not require a cabled connection to the monitor reducing trailing cables and potential trip hazard.

Two Fall Savers® Bed/Chair Pad Transmitters

The compact and sealed Transmitters plug straight into the Fall Savers Bed and Chair sensor pads and communicate wirelessly with the Fall Savers Monitor. The Transmitters feature an adjustable time delay, adjustable between 0, 2 and 4 Seconds to reduce the risk of potential false alarms caused by slight movement or restlessness. The Transmitters have a battery life of up to 18 Months (depending on the frequency of alarm transmissions) and can be used in most environments up to 10 metres distance from the Monitor.

One Fall Savers® Wireless Monitor

This monitor incorporates the latest wireless technology from Fall Savers. If a transmitter is disconnected or goes out of range and connection is lost, then the monitor will go into alarm mode.

The monitor also has a Nurse Call Jack output allowing it to be interfaced into most nurse call systems using the appropriate cable. Special features include the ability to use one monitor with two sensor pads or other wireless devices simultaneously, two sensor pad inputs for wired bed, chair or floor sensor pads, high / low or silent mode option and a recordable Personalised Voice Alert. The Silent Alarm option eliminates alarm noise in the room and should only be used if interfaced to a nurse call system or used with a portable pager. The Fall Savers Wireless Monitor is supplied with a 9V battery but can be used with a mains adapter purchased separately.
